What gorgeous color! Around here, things turn dark, dull green, then yellowish, and then brown. :D

Dan, here's a couple, I can no longer climb down on the rocks to enhance the view, I can only move laterally along the shoreline and of course shoot at different times a year

You could (almost) win me over to loving autumn. The colors are so vibrant and bold. Such breathtaking scenes. If the color would last at least 3 months, I'd be sold!

I was in the Catskills in Oct about 3 years ago and it was beautiful up there, Lake Sagandaga is beautiful and Lake Placid. Thank you !!

Hi Carla, after my granddaughter's wedding on Oct 11 I will be headed up and hope to catch the color at peak, we only have two seasons here in Fla., hot and not quite as hot, and I hate summer. Thanks for the comments
