I like as it s. great sense of depth and scale. I think cropping the shadow would diminish the impact of depth. I think I would rather clone them out if one found them objectionable.

Thank you I liked the shadows too....

It is a very nice photo. I think if you cropped at the top of the upper horizontal shadow that is toward the bottom (are you confused?) lol, it would eliminate unnecessary foliage without losing any impact or depth.

Please show me what you mean how would you have cropped it?
Here you go. You can add a little more if you think this is too short. If you do not like my idea, that is quite alright. It was just an idea to throw around :)

You are very welcome. Either way, it is a very nice photo. I kind of liked the shadows also. I just didn't know if it was too big. Lol.

Nice shot..I was going to say that it seemed like there wasn't a point until I saw the person, and then I had that "aha" moment...THERE'S the story!

Now instead of a drab photo of some woods...now there's a story ..(and I know you knew that...I was just trying to say that it was a good idea)

A bit of a crop might have helped..not sure but it's good.

Can you show me how you would of cropped it?

Sorry....I was at church...what the other poster did was what I was thinking of doing...just shortening up the lower portion.

Either way...it's just a suggestion...the OP shot was good as is.

I really like it the way it is. I can almost smell the leaves. It makes me want to be there. I like how the person gives the whole scene perspective.

Very, very nice. Wish I could get as much right out of the camera.

Speaking of which, can you provide some technical details: camera, lens, settings, etc. And if you have a magical spell, include that as well. Thanks in advance.
