Folks, I really don't shoot closeups too often so these are more or less just me goofing off. I found the Cicada on the side of my RV. Once he heard we were going camping...he wanted to go too. The Bumble Bee and Skipper were found during an early morning walk at the RV park.
very nice little critter shots james :-D !

Nice shots James 👍👍
Excellent. Not Macro but they would be perfect for the close up section....Rich
Really nice macros. I like all three very much.

James, I wish I could produce something like these by goofing off. Fantastic set.
For someone who doesn't shoot closeups too often, you did a very good job.

Thank you Kindly Folks for stopping by. Really, I was just playing around just to see what would happen. They came out better than I thought, but I'm not to happy with the shallow depth of field. Too much stuff out of focus for my taste. I need one of those magic snap on macro lens gadgets I recently saw here on UHH.
Wow. I'm sure there will people who specialise in Macro, that will be extremely envious of these shots.
Really good trio James, brilliant,
Geoff

If these are a result of your goofing off, I'd definitely goof off a lot more, James. Fantastic shots especially the cicada. Wish I could find something other than an empty shell on the side of a pine.
