I should have said I usually don't like selective color, typically the red bow on a B&W baby's head, or a colored baseball hit by a B&W batter, which totally distract from the main subject. In this case, the B&W girl outside the window does not compete for attention with the main subject on the right, and is further defined by the colored window grid. Well done, Dude. :)

Wasn't #2 taken in a Street Car in New Orleans.

Thanks again Larry. I figured that's what you meant. I have been experimenting with different aspects of selective color. I too do not like the bow tie or "Red dress look. But I have found that thinking outside of the box with selective colors has inspired me to search for more ways to experiment.

Yes Kathy it was. A street car or a rail. Wasn't sure of the correct terminology.

Tray this a really good diverse set, The mono is menacing, the sunset/rise is stunning and the train shot is just brilliant,-- Looking forward to seeing more of your work,

This is good, but I prefer the impact of the split mono, colour picture,

Thank you Larry. I will repost #2 with no selective color but it will have to be at a later time due to the fact that I'm not near my computer. But I have one similar saved to my phone. It does show movement and still but no on coming train. Again thank you for your criticism. Much appreciated!

Cleaver observation shot Tray, but I do agree with Larry, don't over-do the colour popping,

Thanks again Larry. I do see what your saying. And on the selective color aspect. Although you don't like them, what do you think of this one?

Nice set👍👍 I think the B&W treatment in #2 is very interesting

I like the b&w of #1. Makes the creature look even more menacing :)

#3 is stunning!

Thanks Ron. And the second one I was experimenting with still shot and action in the same frame. I've also got into learning more with selective color. So in this photo on a rail in New orleans I selected black and white on everything out side of the Window that is in motion.

I really like the effect. all three are good.
