It would be even better with a boat at night!!

Yep it would be quite a hike. Fortunately I was able to take the shot as a passenger in my buddy's moving Santa Fe through the sunroof.

We are planning a day trip to Charleston,SC. Know some places but would love input from those familiar with historical downtown site but also any thing else of interest.

Thanks in advance

I live about 2 1/2 hours North of Charleston and am a frequent visitor of the city. I always check out the Antique shops. I love still life and have found that many items in the antique shops are great for still life images. Usually things are displayed in a creative manner and I wouldn't find the items to photograph anywhere else. I always ask if photography is permitted and so far have not been turned down. Enjoy the city, you may want to consider Savannah for a future rip also.

Make sure you don't miss Magnolia Cemetery. This is a great site for both monuments and birds. Opens at 8 every morning. Easy to drive through.

Yes we've done Savannah a number of times . Great street scenes. Thanks for the idea regarding antiques.
