Me too. Signs are just great, they say so much about our and other societies.
There was a great book titled: Jail Keys Made Here. It was a book of signs seen in store windows....
I have a friend who shots street signs of people's names. They make great gifts and interestingly enough they are always hung in the home and passed on to future generations.

Large fine for blowing horn.....unless of course there's danger.
On an amazing journey up the Dalton Highway from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay, AK, these are three of the signs encountered along the way. The first is pulling out of Coldfoot Station on the second day of the trip. 240 miles to the next service is no joke. There is nothing on that road that even resembles civilization except a couple of pump stations for the pipeline and a few outhouses. The second was taken in Prudhoe Bay where the oilfield workers live. The humor is in the fact that you are a couple hundred miles north of the tree line. That is the only "forest" they know up there. The last picture is of the sign at the end of the road. That point is the furthest north you can drive on a public road in North America.
Found this one in Sicily, Italy
