It would be great if Obummer had taken 2/3 more.

Get your facts straight! GWB didn't spend ONLY 367 days on vacation....Hell, he spent 380 at HIS RANCH alone, and a handful at the FAMILY retreat at Kennebunkport. If you're gonna throw a number out there, make it right. However, I would put a lot more credence in the "working vacation" aspect of it with GWB than I certainly would his royal highness, the boy king! It's all a matter of exposure while vacationing, isn't it!
GWB-Cutting brush on his land, conferring with world leaders, including "Boy King's" buddy, Vlad Putin, among many. (Vlad Putin, you remember him, don't you? He's the guy that "BK" told Medvedev that "BK" would have more latitude to deal with after the election.....Some dealin', huh!)
Think it was all fun n' games for GWB on his vacation, at HIS ranch? Ask Cindy Sheehan and her code pink bitches, who seemed to spend as much time there as GWB.

"BK" (Boy King)-Lavish accomodations wherever he, or "GK" (girl queen) decided to go....either together or separately. 5 star hotels, champagne/caviar/lobster/ and on and on and on...! Does anyone really need and entourage of hundreds, yes, hundreds tagging along, sharing the good times? I'm talking now about the great side trips the royal family and their many friends took....because they could!
Didn't see many world leaders joining the "BK" on his vacations.....no body surfing in Hawaii, or momma jeans bike riding (on a girls bike, no less!) in Mahthaaas Vinyad! I think "BK's" only perception of work while away, was fund raising, fund raising, and more fundraising! you think he was actually working at formulating a plan to deal with ISIS? Wrong....He even admitted he didn't have a plan. Sad thing is, for us, is that he seems to not even have a clue!

And how many have quit looking for work? Those numbers aren't in that scenario. Tis better to quit looking for work and hitch a ride on the gummint gravy train?

Another factor. Once unemployment benefits run out you are no longer considered unemployed. It's not taken into consideration in the unemployment numbers. The number of people applying for unemployment benefits is down according to the government. It's because people have exhausted their benefits and cannot reapply. People living off of welfare and foodstamps are not factored in as unemployed. Actual unemployment is more likely in the 14% range or higher. There really is no way to calculate the true number.

Discretionary spending is approximately 19% of the deficit. It's a good place to cut back.

Imagine, if you will, that you are sitting in your neighborhood café , sipping your drink, when a stranger comes in and sits on the stool next to you. He immediately produces a Colt .45 revolver and puts it on the bar. He then produces a handfull of bullets and puts them on the bar. He then proceeds to load the bullets into the cylinder of the pistol, one at a time.
Astonished, you ask, "What are you doing?"
He replies, "I am loading my pistol and when I am finished, I will shoot you!"
And that, dear friends, is why we invaded Iraq!

Might be a valid point . and WHOM do you think was responsible for the Job Loss ? Or do you removed that factor also ?

When you have the REPUBLICAN party doing everything in its power to not let the white house get credit for doing any thing good and also for being obstructionist over all. It is amazing what this President has been able to accomplish ..
Imagine if the Republican party had the Citizens in mind and was doing their job to help rebuild this country. Instead of forgetting what Bush did and then blame it all on the present President. But they are worried that the POOR will want medical care and that will divert needed money .. Money they seem to find in the TRILLIONS when they have a War they want to get into .. and I wonder how rich most of them get on that ? Just wondering ..

I can't figure out why some people have such a vitriolic reaction when they see the President playing golf. Among all president's in the last 100 or so years, he only falls into the middle as a frequent player. And given the level of wireless communication and connectivity that follows him everywhere he goes, when he's on the golf course, he's more in touch with the world than any other sitting president ever has been ... heck, he could launch nuclear missiles from the sand trap on the 8th hole at Pebble Beach.

So, it's really confusing to me as to why, while all other president's have engendered some small levels of criticism for playing golf, this president seems to turn his critics virtually rabid (just peruse the conservative blogs for some examples).

I put together this collage to see if I could figure out what the big deal was and then it became crystal clear once I had all the pictures in front of me. The man in the lower right has absolutely no business being on a golf course ... he's left-handed.
