We won't even discuss those who have dropped out of the job market due to extended unemployment or retirement. Retirement numbers are the highest they have ever been because of the baby boomers. Of course the market is up, look where it started. And don't blame Bush for that, wars are great for the economy. The recession is a result of the decline of the housing market caused by substandard loans that where no good when made. That happened because someone eased the banking regulations governing home loans. Guess who that was, William Jefferson Clinton. Those are facts you folks ignore.

Is that what you got from my post? You are a fool. I was in banking for over 20 years and very much disliked the regulations. But some are necessary, and if those are eased, bad things happen, and they did.

37 percent of our population are receiving some form of government assistance. This does not include prepaid programs like Medicare and social security. That is a big number and they love him.

I understand the difference. If you go to fact check you will see the deficit as a percentage of GDI was lower during the Bush administration than during Obama's. Also, again according to factcheck, neither Obama nor Congress gets credit for the deficit reduction. It is because the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire and a slowly growing economy. Neither branch has addressed long term debt reduction, only short term solutions.
