Here is an interesting art piece that I saw when I was down-town Vancouver today (normally we try stay away from the down-town core on a hot summer Sunday ... gazillions of tourist ...
Gumhead is a seven-foot tall self-portrait that Douglas Coupland has described as "a gum-based, crowd-sourced, publically interactive, social-sculpture self-portrait." Viewers and passersby are encouraged to apply their own chewed gum to the sculpture so that over the summer months it is transformed, eventually obscuring the artist's face.
I encourage you to download the original and zoom in on the gum ... it's bizarre :) ... enjoy Phil
That is actually pretty grose.
