Manual focusing of Panasonic Lumix FZ 200.
I have an embarrassing question. I would like to know how to manually focus on an object using Panasonic Lumix FZ 200 camera. Thank you in advance.
That camera simply doesn't have a focus ring. But you should be able to lock focus - give the pdf manual a quick search on "lock focus".
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.

Set the top Mode dial to M. Look on the side of your lens and slide the switch down to Manual Focus (MF). You'll see a red M at the stop left of the screen to confirm you are in manual mode.
The camera will allow you to select the subject by moving the lens from wide angle to Telephoto, with the zoom lever, until the subject is the size you want on the LCD screen or in the Electronic Viewfinder (your choice).
Use the Manual Focus Assist button (under the MF switch) to acquire accurate focusing of the subject when the subject is in the center of your LCD or EV screen.
If the screen is dark you need to adjust your aperture, shutter speed or ISO to capture more light.
I thank you so much for the step by step explanation. I hope to use it for my macro shots for flowers and bugs.

I suspect you'll be using a tripod for this kind of work. An extra aid is to press the AF/AE button on the back of the camera. This will lock your focus and exposure settings until you press the AF/AE button again.
Have fun.
I went out this PM and took a few shots and am very satisfied with outcome. I appreciate all the advices you gave.
