Airboat ride on the Kissimme River, River Ranch, Florida

I shot this with my GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition. I just show a part of the full video that included the only real animal scenes in the video which were the cattle crossing the river. The GoPro is an amazing little camera but the one disadvantage is the lack of ability to zoom. Maybe in the next iteration. :-D I have added a soundtrack, using an old Pete Fountain tune, Up a Lazy River, to drown out the sound of the airboat engine. I was sitting up next to the Captain right in front of the engine.

I added a soundtrack to a video I uploaded to Youtube but they gave me crap about copyright infringement. Did you have any problem with Vimeo or did you have permission to use the music? If you did have the requisite permission, how do you get it?

Not on this one. Maybe because of the age of the recording. But Vimeo can be like Youtube. I purchased the song through iTunes so maybe that made a difference. I published a PowerPoint presentation (Historic Darien) awhile back on Yuotube where I added a song "Georgia on my mind" which I also purchased through iTunes and Youtube didn't give me any hassle.
