I am relatively new to the forum, I had been lurking in the shadows observing the interaction of the forum members.
I have been a photography buff since 1971 when I purchased my first camera. That's all it took and I was hooked. Of course, the limiting factor for all of us back then was the cost of film and processing. Did the home darkroom thing for a while till we moved to a house where it was not possible without major inconvenience.
For the next 30 or so years, I used the cameras rarely. With the dawn of the digital camera a whole new universe opened up. Currently, I am shooting Nikon D90, D7000 and a D7100 with a several Nikon, Sigma and Tokina lenses. Wildlife and Landscapes have the greatest interest. Lately, I have been interested in capturing humming birds. I am current hampered by an injury that is healing slowly, not like they did 36 years ago. I am glad I found the forum and I review it daily.

Welcome to the forum Clem. 8-)
Welcome aboard. You're in the right place, it's helped me a lot and is a friendly place for the most part, with only an occasional curmudgeon that got up on the wrong side of bed.

Welcome to the forum Clem B, looking forward to your posts. :-D
Welcome to UHH Clem, glad you finally joined us. Did the same as you, started shooting Nikon FTN in the 70's. At night the kitchen was my dark room. Developed my B&W film and then printed. Still shooting Nikon, now the D7100. Digital much easier. Hope you heal up soon. Have fun and enjoy the forum.
