Howdy folks,
I have enjoyed reading the posts and learning from them here on UHH for the past few months. I have always enjoyed photography ever since my mother gave me a Brownie when I was but a young pup. Work took its toll on time and energy and photography fell to the wayside. Now however I am getting back into it. However, I have a past century brain which finds dealing with horses far easier than the menu on my digital camera! I look forward to improving my skills and knowledge. I enjoy seeing "art" in photography as well as trying to learn all the intricacies of the technical aspects and hopefully eventually combining the two into wonderful photographs.
You are the first person in my experience on this forum to persuade the host computer to show one picture in the post and another in the download. Fascinating!
I was looking forward to a larger version of the second one.
'Y'all'???? From Utah?!
I would have thought "Howdy" from Utah wouldÂ… never mind.
I didn't think The South extended that far.
Welcome.
As I noted, technology and my brain tend to but heads...and as to y'all I worked for some Texans and did pick up a vice or two from them.
Perhaps I did the photo thing right for the reflection this time?
I really like the way that the reflection is almost disorienting.
Since roughly 75% of the picture is reflected, it kind of sets you up for the need to look for a frame of reference which is the sliver at the bottom.
It's kind of crazy but it works.
Thanks I appreciate your comment. I was kind of excited to see the image when I got under the bridge.
It would be interesting to see what it would look like in a much bigger size.
It looks really decent in an 11X17 format printed. It holds up well on my larger computer screen like around 27 inches in width but havent gone beyond there.

My suggestion:
Print (larger than 11x17) and find some wall space!
Greetings horseandmutts, and welcome to the UHH!
Welcome to the Hog from Connecticut
