You might try wix.com. Easy to set up and use.

Use any ISP service that includes web site templates with domain registration.

In the short run it is less expensive, in the long one, forget it, no flexibility.

Here are several free, or almost free, possibilities.

Personally, I use Weebly.com

You don't mention what you are running for your computer.
But you might have resources in your computer already to grind out web pages.
And your ISP might have a limited web page builder to try.
That's a couple of freebies you could look into.
It is a LOT easier now, than the HTML code days. (The programs do it for you.)

Squarespace is an amazing platform. http://www.squarespace.com The cheapest level of service is $8 per month. I have built two websites for a private school and a local non-profit with them. So the platform is incredibly robust and allows you to build incredible websites or simple websites as you like. It was originally built for bloggers and photographers. A lot of professional photographers use it. It is well worth checking out.

I was using wordpress (it's free) with a photocrati theme (not free- there is a one time cost). I also paid for hosting on bluehost (about $5 per month). The website was pretty good but then I saw squarespace and recently switched over. I think squarespace makes beautiful sites for photographers. My site is sgfineartphoto.com if you want to have a look.

Wordpress is a very popular web-building resource. The possibilities are unlimited - well, limited by time, money, and expertise.
