Frostly Sunday morning.
We had a ton of frost here in SD one Sunday morning. I had hoped the cloud cover would stay until after church was out, but no luck. I welcome all feedback and suggestions. Thanks.
What a different photo you have in the hay rakes. Very nice. Do you have others?
Wow!!!! Both great shots!!! the first one is awesome-amazing!!!
i think the rake is a very neat shot they are both nice but like the rake the best

I thought your first picture was almost perfect: nice composition, subject, perfect depiction of frost.
The second one, in my opinion, needed a bit more pp. Try reducing your mid-tone contrast slightly and reducing the highlight brightness a bit, and lightening the shadows a touch. I think you will like how the frosted tree pops out against the sky without looking overdone.
Oh, and kill the power lines.
Great photos. I, too, am a South Dakota girl! I live in the Black Hills and have seen some similar frost. I always try to capture a great photo, too. Linda C.
Skip church, god would understand.
The hayrake and tree seem connected in a cool way, love this shot! I am expecting snow Sunday PM, so, maybe I'll get some practice

Thanks. It was a beautiful morning. Good luck to you with you're shots. I still need to "practice" more as well.

Yes, he certainly had a hand in creating the beautiful morning. Not sure I could explain it well to the kids why mom is "special" and can skip, but they can't! HA!
