Went for a ride

Went for a pretty long motorcycle ride today. Did not take very many pictures since it is hard to get the camera out of my bag when I'm riding. (no, I don't do that) I did stop at Hot Dog Johnny's for a couple of deep fried dogs and took some pictures. Johnny's is a must stop if you are anywhere near the Delaware Water Gap. It is on Rt. 46 just about a mile from the intersection of 46 and 31. They deep fry everything in peanut oil, so if you are allergic, just keep driving.

That's the best part of riding a motorcycle. especially if you take your wife is finding the neet eating places or new ice cream stands.

Nice Set!
Going to a party in South River NJ Saturday, if I pass this, we won't be able to stop!

I'm guessing allergies. It is a problem so they have big signs everywhere alerting people. I think it is good of them to do so.

no, no!! we're going to a resturant for dinner, I wouldn't have room for it, but would love to try, never heard of a deep fried dog! That's something Guy Fierri on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives would do a show about!! lol...

Ah, now I get it. sorry, bit slow on the uptake. There are actually several places in Jersey that specialize in deep frying dogs. Probably the most famous is Rutt's Hut in Clifton. I have not been there yet; but it is a definite possibility.

Great shots ebrunner. There is nothing like a deep fried hot dog from New Jersey. I'll take a ripper from Rutts Hut, Calahans, or Hirams any day. Have never been to Johnny's but I am sure they are just as good.

Nice shots.....being a biker my self what kind of bike do you ride? If you do have a passeneger give them the camera and have them shoot some. I did that riding with my dad on our family trips before I got a bike. I did it with an ae-1. Got some really good shots too.
