In my yard:
1.) Halloween Pendent
2.) Four Spot Pendent
3.) Brown Saddlebag
4.) Blue Dasher/Great Blue Skimmer
5.) Eastern Pondhawk
6.) Golden Darter
7.) Red Veined Darter
8.) Amberwing
9.) and few yet to identify.

This means not very many skeeters left to bite me. I also have 2 dozen Mississippi Kites which feed on dragonflies and have seen that many over head at one time.

I have too many nesting pairs to count. I watch them soar all day long and dive down and catch a dragonfly and off to feed the young. A dragonfly with orange and black wings has to be called Halloween.
