Translucent leaf hopper

I saw a spot of yellow on a azalea this morning. When I looked closer, it was a fresh molted leaf hopper! Couldn't get the eye in focus for the second shot. I had to lean forward and point up to keep a leaf from blocking the shot.

Yes indeed they are.
I need someone to make a smiley with out-of-focus eyes.

Now thats a good idea for a photography forum. Overhead shot is nice. When insects are in the freshly molted gummy bear state, I too have problems nailing the eyes. I think it's because the facets haven't hardened up and I can't pick up the edges.
