This is one of those pictures I don't really understand. I used a 70-200 with a 1.4 extender. I don't remember if I had a circular polarizer filter on the lens or not, I think I did. shot at around 4:00. the sun was behind me and there was a light blue sky behind the thistle. How it turned out black, and looking backlit is a mystery to me. Still, I love this one.
I did a couple of basic things in Lightroom. cropped and increased contrast. I think that was it.
