That's what I needed to know that the Tamron 16-300mm would Crop to 24-450mm and I would loose 8mm on the low end. You're right I'm tring to sell my D5300 and DX Lenses so I don;t need any more.
It's too bad Tamron doesn't make any FX Lenses or do they.

Yes they do make full frame lenses. Their 70-200 2.8 is the best lens out there in that range, optically. Their build quality still does not measure up to the Nikon, Canon or Sigma models though.

Thanks for reminding me to update my Bio. I finally upgraded to the Nikon 17-35 for my D600
