Here's my contribution....These are all midtown and the streets seen on my lunch hour.
Elle,
Nice job! I really love the Empire State Building picture!

I like Frank T's detailed response, but don't forget bridges (George Washington, Brooklyn) and Coney Island.
Add VZ, Bayonne, Gothels, Outerbridge, Manhattan, TriBoro, what about the tramway, Bob.

Bob.....
I didn't think of the bridges. This is a good idea. I expect to head down to the city first weekend in March, hopefully the weather cooperates. Thanks again.
The Broklyn Bridge walk is worth the time.
Please be advised...if you're coming to New York and are using the subways to get around, I'd suggest that you go online to the MTA website because the trains are a horrible mess! I can't even begin to tell you what is and isn't running--the subway walls are plastered with diversions and all kinds of crap happening and not happening on weekends. Good luck on your venture!

Thanks Reginald..... I was in NYC over the weekend to start the effort. Used a cab sparingly, otherwise I walked. Thanks for the feedback.

Edct,
I live in NYC, I work in NYC, I am going into Lincoln Center for Fashion Week in 10 minutes. How many tables are you thinking of having. The main table I would think would be city hall district. Then all the others can be determined easily. Also consider the Statue of Liberty, the Bull on Wall St. The Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Times Square looking towards the old Times Building. There are plenty.
George
George....
Sorry for the delayed response. 25 tables. City Hall was not on my list. It is now, and I've begun taking the photo's. I have about ten, 15+ to go. Everyone was right. Taking longer than I expected....more than two days!

I wanted to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to everyone for the great advice on where to capture the best pics in Manhatten. Your assistance allowed me to capture photos of 35+ neighborhoods and the bride and groom ultimately chose 25 of their favorites for the 25 tables at their wedding, held a few weeks ago.
As many of you suggested, this task was more difficult than I had anticipated, more from a logistics perspective than anything else. I walked, and walked, a lot, over four full days. I used a cab when pressed for time and resorted to the subway when possible. I actually spent two days in a row, on two occasions, in order to get the job done and spent the night at the Times Square Hilton, a great hotel.
I will now plan on posting some of these pics to share with everyone who was so kind to assist me. I will post two or three pics with each message and I'll do so on the appropriate forum on UH. Special thanks again to everyone.
