Black has nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately we are so divided -- liberal / conservative -- that there is no middle ground. We used to be able to compromise, but that is no longer the case. I sincerely believe that much of the angst today is because Obama is black. If that changes, we MAY be able to compromise again on some very serious issues.

Somehow I do not think obama will be able to change the color of his skin. Granted he is part white but doubtful if his white side could come through. He would have to be a shapshifter to accomplish that. :-D :-D

I agree with you but the right wing conservatives began the hate towards this president. They've set a terrible precedent because if they ever do find a candidate for the presidency, he/she will be treated like they treat Obama. I think forever more all bets are off concerning politicians. Maybe I'm wrong...

I have to disagree with you. Most do not hate the president as an individual. The biggest problem is that obama is an individual that is a great divider and not the uniter he promised to be. He is more disliked for his policies and unwillingness to compromise. Many on the left automatically start calling "racism".

You're probably right - at least for the foreseeable future. If you think it began with the current president, however, you've got a short memory.

It's very simple....ALL liberals are hypocritical, lying, subhumans. They don't really give a rat's ass about people. It's all about control...controlling you, your money and making you spend it on them.

They all preach how they're so caring, concerned, and tolerant, about how everybody matters......then call for the destruction of Hobby Lobby, Chick-filet, or anybody that doesn't agree with them.

I'm fast losing my tolerance of liberals, gays and all the other HATE groups. Make no mistake, they're all hate groups.

Do you understand the concept of hyperbolic sweeping generalization?

Kind of weird that you are castigating others for being hateful. Look at your own words.

If anyone is calling for the destruction of HL, then I must have missed it. Can you point to specific examples?

Gee, I would have loved to been in the White House when The " "Anointed one" (Obama) and his Jesters heard about the Supreme Court Ruling....Hang in there gang 933 days and we get a new President, 1/20/16.

I do not know anyone who disagrees with the president because he is black or half black or whatever. I do know many conservatives that voted for Obama in the 2008 election because he was head and shoulders above McCain. His"You are on your own" speech impressed me. However his "You did not make that" speech concerned me.

Both Left and Right wanted something different from the Bush era. Sadly many on the Conservative side feel that the Liberal side is using this administration to exact pain or as some have said, get even for all the Bush supporters and their legacy.

Furthermore, if anyone criticizes the President they are immediately labeled a hateful racist bigot. Somehow, I wonder if the left can get passed that the president is black since they feel the need to mention it so often.

There has been several times that the administration has used race which is unfortunate since the leader of the USA should be able to relate equally with all the different cultures that make up this country.

Maybe I missed something earlier because I completely agree and that is exactly what the court ruled on. I must have misunderstood an earlier post of yours.

You are forgiven Blurry even tho I made 3 posts plainly stating the same that you were in disagreement with. Try Visine before reading anymore Blurry. :? :?

That's true! Americans are NEVER happy with their government. It must be in our mutt-blood or something...

So Jake,
Why is he stupid. He makes a valid point. If I have a moral or religious objection to something, SCOTUS says I don't have to do it.
Why can't I refuse to pay for blood transfusions if I object to them?

So are those leftist progressives comparing it to HAVING TO JOIN A UNION against my will?

The fact is the Supreme Court said, if a company has a religious objection to abortion, they don't have to pay for it.

Hobby Lobby will pay for your birth control, they don't want to pay for you to kill your baby.

A baby? The morning after or a week after? Have you considered going to work for Steven King?

I would say so, especially toward anyone who choses not to agree with them.

Lucas , if you're gay, good for you.

hahaha! Didn't you know... Life "begins at conception." That's the second the sperm reaches that little egg!

I'm with you, Croce. Seriously, people! It's a zygote. Not a baby! I will send you links to free biology lessons on the women's body if you want! Don't take medical advice from your pastor, for goodness sake!
