One of the best... remember?

I still possess my old Panasonic Lumix FZ50 and I took so good and beautiful photos with this camera that I cannot decide to sell it, even if I do not use it any more, possessing a Pentax K5.
Are there members who still possesses their FZ50 and who sometimes use it?
My FZ50 was a great instrument and did all I asked of it. Yet, when I compared it to the later model Panasonic/Leica offerings in the "bridge" type cameras, I finally decided to go with a V-lux 4. It's just a more capable tool for what I do, and I'm glad I made the switch.

I still have my FZ45 which my husband uses now. I agree this series of camera is brilliant for the price and a good preparation for DSLRs because they have many of the same bells and whistles.

I did not know the Leica V-Lux 4 and your comment made me discover it.
Indeed, I doubt not at all the high quality of this camera and the pleasure that you
have to use it.
If I was younger of only a few years, I would doubtless try to obtain one from.
Unfortunately, Leica do not seem to sell this model here.

I tried two model according to the FZ50, but I was never so satisfied as with the FZ50 and I put them on sale.
