BMAC...of course, if there is no pressure and it is our choice...for this wedding party, it is a request that will be kinda hard to meet without going in to the city and hustling uptown and downtown. Lots of time lost on subways....trying to get the best light....and best angle. The fact that the OP had to ask for WHERE, would indicate that it wont come easy.
I was just offering an option since there are so many wonderful people on UHH who take such great photos....
I would love this assignment myself, but would want to take my time. 2 days for me would not be long enough...How could one shoot a pic of, lets say the empire state bldg, without going up in it and getting a shot of the view...that could take all morning if there is a line....
Or can you go to the MET and not go in.....well you get the point I think.

P.S. I didn't put in those winky smilies. Ugg.
Your welcome Glenn and here they are. 8-) :) :D
Figured out that a closing paren after quotation marks is what causes the winky smilie to appear. Who knew? :)

warehouse district, between B'k'lyn and Manhattan bridges, fancy restaurant downstairs, rats and mice everywhere, the city put a park in just between the river and the brick building on the left of your photo if I've got the right place.
Try to go to Bryant park. I believe it is considered Manhattan. I really got some good shots there. I'm going back to NYC in may. I plan on going back to this park
Get on a train...get to the city...The highline was easy short walk from Penn....had to take subway downtown for memorial
People take a lifetime shooting new york.
So good luck to the OP...hope you are able to get your 25 table shots in your time frame.

Try downloading a map of the NYC transit System.
It used to highlight many points of interest around the city.

I am in NYC quite a bit, and a friend asked that I capture one good photo from each neighborhood in Manhattan as she wants to use each photo for a table at her wedding. In other words, a couple would be directed to Table 5 - Chesea, or Table 6 - TriBeCa, etc....The table # and photo for that neighborhood would be displayed at the table. There are some neighborhoods where the photo stop is easier to determine, (e.g. Empire State Building), however it is not as easy in all neighborhoods. I thank you in advance for suggestions you could provide on where I can capture the best photo within a particular neighborhood.

It might well be....
I go into the city (manhattan) a lot for concerts and walking around shooting. But I'd like to go into B'klyn....name some interesting places....I'm not familiar with B'klyn at all. I might be missing some really good stuff.
