Thanks, I was glad to finally find a long-legged fly

I wish I could get a shot of these impossibly small midgies that terrorise me, but down to a half dozen welts on the arms and still loads on the head

Nice captures, but still ugly. Not much one can do to make a bottlefly attractive.

Oh so true, just glad to be playing again, now with all the rain I am toying with buying a weatherproof flash, as I discovered the Yongnuo don't play well in the rain (didn't die though).

Thanks they are bonnie I think as far as flies go, still think there may have been more if I had remembered to switch back to RAW
