Day 45 - Photo A Day Challenge - 2-14-2012
Welcome to Day 45 :) First of all Happy Valentines Day to everyone. I'm not planning on venturing very far from home today so I thought we'd make it all about Nature in Your Neighborhood. Not too much exciting in my neighborhood but here are a few examples to get us started.
I loved the lemon trees in Phoenix! Great photos ~ feel better! Everything is still so dismal here and we may be in for a wintery mix. It has just started raining ice!
Happy Valentines day everyone!
Happy Valentine's Day to all my UHH family! Since photogrl57 started a nature theme, I'd like to add my photo of this cute little guy I got when I was up walking around our local Yucaipa Regional Park last year. The photo was taken with my Canon Powershot SX30 IS, so I was able to zoom in quite a bit on him. Hope y'all like it.
"Rocky the Squirrel"
Happy Valentine's Day. Did you ladies buy a heart for your husband?
In my neighbourhood,,nada, rien, nuttin' except a hayfield and a barn outback, so I'll swop it off for nature in town and some achived because we are snowbound, however the first ones are here and are classified as "First Cup Catches"
No, this lady doesn't have a husband to buy a 'heart' for. I did wish my longtime school friend a "Happy Valentine's Day" though. I will be going with him to our 40th year high school reunion this coming July. We've been keeping in contact by phone, but I'm looking forward to seeing him again. Last time I saw him, I was in junior college.
On to my second cup now. Still dark out, will archive a bit
Taken in my hangouts...which do NOT include McDo, W-M, or any other place where there are more than three trucks parked
photogirl57...good thing to relax a bit. Also happy to be close to home here..wonder what I will find...you all must be tiring of my river by now. I LOVE THAT PIC OF THE LITTLE CRITTER popping his head up over the rocks. LOVE IT.
RoadR...bet you never see a vampire...yummmmmmy Garlic...did you grow it yourself?
2 little critters from the archives....I plan on getting out today...unless it starts to snow
found another on antenna of truck
its the real thing
Yes I grow my own. I planted about 75 - 80 late last October and will harvest them in late July. I go to Garlic Festivals and buy bulbs and each year I have different kinds. For anyone from Maine or Vermont here, there is one great festival in Bennington on Labour Day weekend and another near Bar Harbour, but I forget the date.
