Today it emerged that despite the influx Vice President Joe Biden believes more, not fewer, immigrants should come to America.
Speaking to a National Association of Manufacturers’ crowd this week he called for a 'constant, unrelenting stream' of new immigrants — 'not dribbling (but) significant flows,' to bolster the national economy, The Hill reported.
‘We need it badly from a purely — purely economic point of view,’ Mr Biden said, The Hill reported.
Later, on Twitter, he wrote: ‘The final thing we need to do together is pass immigration reform … We need it badly. -VP at manufacturing summit.'
His comments come as border patrol agents are appealing to the federal government to help with the thousands of illegal children pouring across the border.

I don't understand this at all. Just one aspect, what about those diseased children? Chances are they haven't been vaccinated. Why is this even allowed to happen? I don't get it. Not a good thing.

dljen..I know you won't agree here... BUT in my personal opinion (only one I got) the Children are HERE by plan.... The possibility that totally by accident several thousand unescorted children as young as 10/11 managed to find their way to the USA over more than a thousand miles of hostile ground and suddenly begin to appear en masse at the Texas Border sort of boggles the imagination.

As far as the sickness, etc.... I fully believe that our Administration will totally leave that up to the states that they are being shipped to....The administration will do absolutely nothing to help at all.

And I Believe completely that shipping so many off to Arizona without so much as a "By Your Leave" is 100% retaliation for the temerity of Governor Brewer's audacity to stand up to President Obama....

And consider the statements (Paraphrased)that ""These children will be joined up with their families

Think about that... where are their families... Already in country? having provided pictures, etc. of their children just in case they arrived at the border unexpectedly one night. So far this fiasco is so false that it totally defies reality..

I DO NOT WANT THE KIDS hurt or mistreated, they need to be fed, doctored and returned to their country of origin.... At what point in time or number wise are we going to have to understand that we cannot just accept the entire world's children or their parents for that matter.....

I think we may agree on this more than you may realize, venturer9. I don't understand it and am not pretending to. I worry that there may be a spread of some disease that heretofore has been 'wiped out' because of vaccinations we in this country have. My ex-doctor used to go to these poor countries and vaccinate the children. He was a holy guy - can you believe it, he tried to convert me - and would often take vacations to islands and dirt-poor countries. In the old days, we would have said it blows my mind but I don't know what to say now.
