This is not a bash post this is a post about what happened with some prints I ordered from Adorama pix. My wife and I went to the Richmond zoo here in Virginia 2 weeks ago. I took countless imiges that day and was very excited about the shoot.I got home and put them on my computer just like we all do. All and all a pretty good shoot that day. There was a tiger there and I took several shots of this tiger it is my wifes favorite cat. I worked on it in lightroom 4 they came out pretty good when I was done editing. I decided to get some of these Tiger images printed. I sent them off to Adorama pix. They have always done a great job for me so I was looking forward to getting them back. As always the service was great the communication was great got an email in a few days saying my order has been shipped. When the pictures came to my house and I opend them I was shocked. The prints were Terrible. I have ordered many prints before including metal prints and all were fantastic. I then sent them off to another printer I have used before who also has done a great job for me and I wanted to compare prints. I got them back Today got home from work and opened them I was shocked again on just how good these came out and the difference between the prints. Now I ordered the prints the same way from both companies same paper color correction and even the finish. I am not one to complain but have always handled things diplomatically. I will be sending an email to adorama pix expressing my concerns and also find out if they have changed something in their process of printing. This does not mean that I would not order from their photography store I am very pleased with them and never have been done wrong. Maybe Adorame pix will make this right. :-( :-(

You might have called Adorama first, then posted your problem, or problem solved. I think they'll do right by you.

I'm psychic....and therefore I can say this:

When you contact them, they will bend over backwards to reprint them and on top of that, give you something for free to make it right.

Guaranteed.

PS: Wondering why they were so bad...that's not AdoramaPix's M.O. at all.

It's OK - found him via Flickr and ID'd the order. So this is the reason; he placed his order with prophoto rgb color profile, and because of it, the color came out as disappointing. We can give him credit to re-order for one time only - if he is willing to re-order with srgb color profile.
