Is it good to take practice shots of your own house in the dark before attempting to photograph fireworks?

Welcome to the hog, bigguy..Just keep shooting in all kinds of lightÂ…..But when you do shoot fireworks, use a tripod and attach a shutter release. And set the shutter to stay open as long as you press the release.
