Flowers are always tricky. What pictures do you have with natural light (no flash).

Here are a few more.
The last one is fabulous. It just really grap you. I also know how hard it is to get a white flower right. and you did it. Not only did you get the white right, you got the colors right too.
Excellent job.
Really beautiful shots, how do you get the background black? I would love to know.
What fun! I like flowers because I don't have to hurry as with animals who are always leaving. Here are a few on mine to share.

I really like that first one. It's hard to pull off a flower in B&W, and you clearly did, nice job.

If I get any closer to that middle picture I may become part of it. they are all very nice.
The day after Christmas my wife and I were taking pictures at a rose garden she found on the campus of a local community college. As we walked around looking for good candidates I spotted a beautiful blossom buried deep in the shadows of larger surrounding bushes. After walking around the area I came to it from the other side of the flower bed. By then the late afternoon sun had moved enough that a ray of light penetrated to illuminate this one rose. It was a fight to get the tripod in there but I got the shot.

The light makes the picture.
