I have been looking for awhile for jumping spiders to try to capture a photo of one Someone on this forum told me to look for wood fences and a body of water. Today I found such a spot and captured my first jumping spider and also a strange looking fly. Any comments are welcome as I am trying to learn and improve.

Walt,
Great set! I like the fly the best but they're all great photos.

I was wondering when you were going to post some shots like this. These look darn good. Looks like a female Grey Wall Jumper. I have them all over my building. #2 looks just like a shot of one of mine. I think you can find it on my flickr page.

Trudy, thanks for your kind comments. I just kept working at it until it finally came together. I still need to improve on my technique and this forum has really helped me to know what to do. I hope to see your first shot as well. Hang in there.
