Thank you very much. judging by the attached chart, you might be able to catch sight of them on their migration route.

They nest in the higher elevations of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as passing through on both spring and fall migration

Thanks for the chart. I will keep an eye out, but as an active birder I already do that. In fact I saw something this morning that I have never seen before; a Red Headed Woodpecker. Have all my feeders, including suet filled & ready. Also have water supplied.

Well, I haven't seen it since. :( I think we have been overrun by the Common Grackles & everything else is being intimidated by them. The picture I got wasn't all that great because it wasn't looking at me. Might do for id. though.

I am hoping to see it again but I'm afraid the million or so Grackles we have scared it off.
