As an experiment I tried all the different settings for white balance tonite
The only pp done on these was to combine them and add the words ... other than that they are all straight out of the camera

Well, which WB did you think best represented moon color? It looked to me that automatic did not do too badly.
I suspect that different locations could produce different results, depending on what is in the atmosphere at the time.

I noticed that the photos are flipped. The craters are mirror images in each set of pics. Whats up wit that?

Well yeah .. how else do you suggest to get them both on one. I had to flip one and use a layer mask for the comparison ... it was the easiest way for my purposes.
All that work I did and that's what you notice LOL
