And to add--if one terrorist attact on a US embassy made Obama weak on security how did 13 attacks on US embassies during Bush's term make him look?

What? And again, why does it matter if it was a terrorist attack or a riot?

You have no shame.

So what changes if it is one or the other?

The right certainly doesn't need to make obama look weak, as he has managed to accomplish that all by himself. All one needs to do is look at his pathetic reign of the past 6 years; bowing to 3rd World Dictators, moving his red line in the sand innumerable times, lies and obfuscation about Benghazi, the IRS, and letting Putin dance circles around him, and I could go on and on. He certainly needs no help from the right in looking inept and incompetent!

Simply that the administration lied about it being a demonstration, instead of a terrorist attack..Duh.....
Not too difficult to figure out if you are above the low information demographic!

1) Pres had said Al-Qaeda was defeated and on the run.
2) Created talking points to support his statement because the election was near.
3) Even well after he knew that it was a terrorist attack, he continued to blame the video and 'rioting', not Al-Qaeda related attack, to protect what he had said.
4) Now despite an illegal memo (Hatch Act violation), lying, and cover-up by saying the TP memo was not about Benghazi, he continues to stonewall.
5) New memoirs by Timothy Geithner (former Sec. of Treasury) reveal same type of talking points were prepared for him to make Obama admins' (in)actions on Social Security more publicly acceptable.
6) That practice of smoothing the public image no matter what, was so prevalent by the left they gave it a name, "dog whistle".

That's a heck of a lot more than just mis-characterizing the attack. And in my mind it rises to "high crimes/misdemeanor" (both felonies).

Want more? A taste: Of the last 136 measures sent from the House to the Senate, Harry Reid killed all but eight. Yet the left continues to demonize the right as "obstructionists" and "greased pigs". Now there is even talk from the left saying the Benghazi Ambassador was not murdered!

There's a lot more, but I'll leave with just two: As a Senator, Hillary voted for the Iraqi War... ACA state sites (funded by feds) have already failed at a cost of over 1/2 BILLION dollars, and 2015 costs are projected at + 8%!

Well here's the thing. The Brits shared intel with the US that the situation there was becoming unstable a week before the attack. They packed up and left.

Does it matter if it was a riot or a planned terrorist attack? What was it that Shakespeare said? "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet" It doesn't matter what you call it. In the end it was an attack on our embassy. That matters.

What really matters was our (the American Government's) response.

Did Obama send an armed response? No.
Did Obama mount a rescue operation? No.
Did Obama, Hillary, et al tell us the truth about the attack? No.
Did Obama enter the Situation room when he found out about the attack? No!

and here is the kicker. Did they cover-up their mistakes? It would certainly seem that way and THAT my friend makes all the difference in the world!

Well stated Hoot72, but each and every point you raised has been addressed by many conservative posters on the forum. The problem is, with the nitwits on the left, they simply refuse to accept verifiable facts, but instead continue to lie and obfuscate in their blind devotion to the most pathetically incompetent, inept, lying and treasonous POTUS our once great Republic has ever known! How sad!

Hoot72, Hondo812, Jakebrake, I concur, well said. For me this is a personal affront. The whole mess. As a veteran I take this a bit differently. Those who have never had the PRIVILEGE to serve in the US military would not, could not, possibly understand. These men are not just bodies, THEY ARE MY BROTHERS, OUR BROTHERS!
They did not deserve the gutless antics of this POS CINC. Nor did their families or the American public deserve such abuse.
And if you think I'm pissed, and I am highly, You should talk to my friend who was on the rescue team that was stood down. There's PISSED!

Thanks for your comments Marc. I to am totally offended by the callus and dishonest attitude of the POTUS, Dems in general, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and other people who are resisting securing a full and truthful answer in this case. As I find out new developments, I won't hesitate to jump on it!

Unlike Hillary I care very much! And abhor the apparent lies. Let's hope we can find the absolute truth... I'm also in touch with my state's representatives in the uS Congress.

Takes no imagination to know this administration will do ANYTHING to ANYBODY to further the agenda.

Yeah, but as I'm sure you know, if the facts showing their guilt come out, we have to be just as if not more relentless... I'm originally from SC and have friends/relatives still there. From what I see and have learned, and from what they tell me, Trey Gowdy is pretty good at both finding truth and being relentless in carrying out justice....

And because of those lies oBummer won a second term and hillirshit became secretary of state. The USA had another 9/11 and the ambassador and staff died and obummer keeps lying. Boko Haran was not declared a terrorist group and will continue to do what it does in Africa then Europe and the USA. That is what is happening because we have a totally inept narcissist muslim sympathizer in the WH. Time to admit that islam is a political organization intent on destroying western civilization and declare islam a terrorist organization and drive them out of the west or they will destroy the west. Time to clean the WH and the congress starting in November 2014.

I feel this is grounds enough to declare Obummer and friends unfit for service and remove them from our country.
