Super job Jess, absolutely great action shots. I have that lens and I agree, it rocks. I have shot some 1/2 mile dirt with mine and like you, they came out great. Thanks so much for posting.

It's all about the speedlites i used 3 600ex at HSS for those shots

Are the riders competing? Or just giving you photo ops? I've taken a lot of MX pictures myself. Used to race back in the day. I was FAST. And the older I get, the faster I was!

I was just wondering if the promoters had a problem with you using flash during the race?
Usually during races promoters dont mind about the flashs i shoot some pro Monster Energy AMA supercross and we are allowed to use them there too. When i shoot promos like the one i did yesterday i always ask the riders if the flash botter them and 99% of the time they dont even see it go off.
