Welcome to Day 38 :) I know we were going to do a moon shots day but I got to thinking how interesting is that really going to be ? So I thought we'd make it about *Shallow Depth of Field* and whoever wants to can post the moon as well. Shallow Depth of Field means only a small part of the photo is in focus and the rest is blurry .. making some lovely Bokeh.
Here are a few examples to get us started.
Don't forget if you do post a moon photo... also post your settings.
I want so badly to get a good moom shot but haven't been able to figure out how. Will keep trying.
F13 1/250 ISO 200
PSG57...I just heard myself say ue ue ue as in blue after everyone of your pics today.
Ill try for both MOON over the river and shallow depth of field today
AnnM looks likes like the moon to me.
Depth of field can make or break a photo. I love to apply it on flowers. Hope to understand and apply in my photos more often.
f/3.5 flower was perfectly flat,& thin so all was in focus
f/5.6 center of flower was focus point
f/5 single flower was focus point
f/4 eyes were focus point
f/3.5 frog focus point, but standing back 20 feet
f/4.8 far away shot, distance between bird and foliage 20 feet
one of my favorites. f/11 tried to get whole lizard in focus but failed, about 18 feet away
f/5.6 from abut 30 feet away
f/5.6 from 9 feet away
Day 38 theses are some I took earlier. Up to start the Day, will post new ones from today later.
Everyone have a fantabulus day!!!!

oh my..... what beautiful pictures already! Cannot wait to try this & I'll definately get a shot of the moon, as long as there are no clouds - just wish I could figure out how to get the clouds or the hills or something in with the picture of the moon, (guess I'll figure that one out eventually....) :D Happy shooting everyone
