SWB, here are some of the sites I visit regularly for relatively unbiased news.
Alternet, Wikinews, PBS,BBC, CSPAN, The Christian Science Monitor, and my favorite The Real News. Most of these have searchable archives, on news subjects of any importance.
I know how you feel about Media Matters, and I know they concentrate on hammering conservative news outlets, but I have always found confirmation of their conclusions on other trustworthy sites. There does not seem to be a credible conservative equivalent to Media Matters. They must, after all utilize the same news sources, so they can't adjust the facts without being obvious.

Yes, David I am. I think that if you actually compare what you see on these sites with reality, you'll learn something. I'll guess you heard about these sites on FOX and they told you not to go there, Rush does it all the time, I wonder why? It may not be what you want to hear, but sometimes the truth hurts.
You're obviously one of those southern gentlemen we've heard so much about.

I'm siting here watching Chris Matthews trickle down his leg on MessNBC boy he is panicked about the possibility of the republicans taking over the Senate.
No pretense here he is cheering for the folks like Dirty Harry to stay in power.
Hard to watch much of this garbage.

Whoa! That is a feeble attempt at best. I must get a new Avatar because this one must look stupid. Let me refresh; you stated that Fox very often has their facts incorrect. I asked you to please provide examples of where they have had incorrect facts. This post of your's above does not do that. You are just telling me your news sources. Thanks but no thanks. Please provide proof that Fox News is not factual in their news coverage. You HAVE NOT done that so far. You are the one that said Fox is incorrect. Prove it.

I like that FOX will use stories broken by other news channels and always gives them credit for the story. FOX also gets enough news on its own to keep up with anybody.
There are beautiful ladies on every news channel including the weather. Seems that is some sort of requisite for camera time. I like it!
