I hope someday Adobe introduces video file support in Lightroom. That would be awesome to be able to edit your videos there.

I'd be happy for a start if they'd just upgrade the slide show to match Elements. I hate that you can only use one song.

To my knowledge Photoshop does not do slide shows.

Is it hidden somewhere?

Light room does has some minor ability to import, view and edit videos. It is limited to the tools available in the "Quick Develop" panel of the library module. ie. You can make global adjustment for exposure, white balance, tone etc. You can also take out individual stills. Adobe Premier and Premier Elements are the fully functional programs they offer.

I found Kelby's book has quite a bit on the video editing.

However, what he has on Slideshow doesn't actually make one. Is there a similar hidden feature for Slideshows?

It is possible to export a slideshow as an MP4 video in LR

Adobe TV has a good video, written for LR4, but still applicable. http://tv.adobe.com/watch/getting-started-with-adobe-photoshop-lightroom-4/lightroom-4-publish-a-slideshow/

Yes, I do that. But the thing Kelby called a slideshow in Photoshop wasn't an export.

I can't figure out how to add more than one song to a Lightroom slideshow. That gets repetitive or limits the length. I used to be able to do that with Photoshop Elements.

But now I know Photoshop will edit the video I suppose I could add the additional music there.
