Bill, I haven't had any issues since early last evening. The issue is only a week or so old and intermittent. In the past I have had situations like RixPix described,but I believe this is related to this site only.

Just for the record, I only had happen on this site, they had a video running on the side bar. It was a little 1"X 1" noise maker. Add Blocker Plus knocked it out.

If you are using firefox get their add in/on called noscript Than everything needs permission. Also use ghostery and do not track me+
