I grew up playing football and baseball in Orange County. Now that I'm retired I get to give back to the sports I love by using my photograph skills. I would welcome any feedback on my picture and future pictures. Thanks.

The treatment you've added/editing you've done, makes it look like a video game screencap.

Thanks Wall-E. I wanted the players to stand out as well as the colors.
Thanks for the comment.

Or just a bunch of 'cut outs' on a background.

But none of the colors look anywhere near natural, especially the grass.

Can we see the same photo without any PP?

Thank you! In my eyes, much better. The other looked like a surreal picture. Sorry! What lens were you using and distance from shot?

I also like the original unedited version better. The subjects are well lit and don't need the additional processing to stand out.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll have to rethink my editing.

Ok, my take will be a little different. I like what you did with the lighting. The original is quite bright on the upper left side, drawing your attention in that direction, making it difficult to determine a real "focal point." However, in your process photo, by darkening this area, I feel your eyes are drawn to a clear focal point.

Perhaps the colors are a bit oversaturated, but I'm sure most (especially non photographers) would choose the processed photo!

Good work and keep on shooting! :)

Thanks ccastle, I wasn't going for a typical "clean shot". I wanted a dream-like look to it.

Ultimately the pictures we take are for the people in them. I have never considered Photo Shopping my photos but you have changed my mind. I think your enhanced photo is stunning and the original just about as good as they get. I'm looking forward to being part of the UHH community. There's a ton of information and gorgeous photos like yours.

David,
Thanks so much for the positive feedback.
When I first posted it I wasn't very happy
Feeling the feedback was a little hash. I stopped
viewing UHH. I'm still new at this. I'm still learning.
I don't always know exactly what my settings
are, but I have ideas. Thanks for the positive
Feedback.
