Shot on recent trip to Sedona, AZ. Shot with Nikon D7100, 18-200mm
Chapel of the Holy Cross
Oak Creek Canyon
Montezuma's Castle
 Just a bit dark & contrasty.
Beautiful scenery. The last one could improve even more opening the shadows.
Contrast and colors appear appropriate although in my photography I prefer to desaturate just a bit.
Hi rrayrob,
I love your shots.
I'm considering getting a D7100 and was wondering what your opinion is of yours.
Thanks,
Tom Iskiyan
Good set of images!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom - thanks for comments. I'm really enjoying the D7100. I upgraded from a D5200. There is a definite learning curve to the D7100. But I'm learning it slowly. Purchased the body only on eBay and that saved some major $$. If you purchase on eBay, definitely confirm with seller before you buy that it is a US version - with the D7100 Nikon starts the serial # with 25-------- for US version. One thing that D7100 doesn't have is the flip-out LCD screen which was on the D5200. Small sacrifice for much better camera. Good luck.
I love these photos, Rob. In the first one, it looks like that chapel is actually inside the rocks?? Are you able to go inside and see it?
Yes chapel is open and they also hold services there. Must see when in Sedona, AZ.
Is there an actual chapel under the rocks??
