#1 - Wood duck: hazy white sky livened up with Topaz Simplify split toning layer, then I masked the duck so it is "real" (and it really was in the tree :) ).
#2 and #3 - Mom great horned owl was on a shady limb above the nest late this afternoon, while babies (my first time seeing both!) panted heavily with sun beating right on their backs.
#4 - Ducks in early morning mist (Picasa "boost" enhanced). Not sure of species.
#5 - Caught the male belted kingfisher hovering over the river near the eagle nest again. Hard to get camera to focus on the bird and not the background! Heavily cropped.
#6 - Another shot of my bighorn babies from yesterday.
Canon SX50. Edits in PSE 12, Topaz Simplify and Topaz Detail, and Picasa.
Thanks for viewing!
Very nice series; #4 is lovely.
Very nice series of pictures. I am new to Digital photography and have yet to explore wildlife shots.

How nice! Love the owls and kingfisher especially. Plus I really like the effects and frames. Good job with your pp. Way beyond my capabilities!

Thank you kindly, Ellie. It's been a happy surprise that I am enjoying (so much!) the journey of learning these programs :)

Love your work. Where is Henry Fonda in #4? On Golden Pond comes to mind......but maybe more beautiful here.

I like 'em all, Linda, but the 'Kingie' is my fave.
Nice shots Linda, thanks for sharing. Bee
Great work, Linda. The owls are fantastic, but for me, number four here's the one I'd have on the wall. Excellent!!!
