I created a new section on the forum: General Chit-Chat.
The section is meant for discussions not related to photography.
So if you feel like talking about life in general, please feel free to post there.
You can find the section
here.
P.S. On an unrelated note: I'm working on setting up a search page for the forum. It should be done in about a week.

I too think this is a wonderfull idea number 6. Since you wont let out about the name of the site, nor what your real name is forcing me to call you number 6, can you explain the ostrich avatar? You are one seriously demented in a good way dude/dudette. dont even know if you are a man or woman or possibly klingon. sure is a lot of mystery around this place. Get me scully and mulder....
Thank you, thank you! That does not mean that I will be foregoing looking at all the latest topics. I have found great links and information. Besides, there is a lot of interesting and good information. I feel like I am part of a large, diverse conversation.

That is the first picture I took with the first lens I ever bought separately from a body (as in not a kit lens). So it marks the beginning of my path to becoming a photographer :)
It's a Sigma 50 1/4. One crappy lens I might add. :(
