The first shot was from as close to the water as I could reach without falling over. 2nd shows the bridge from NY to Canada in the background (NY falls shown on the right). Multiple rainbows are common due to the constant mist created by the water.
Lovely shots. Are these straight out of the camera? They could be made to look so much better if you brightened them up a tad in post.
You're right. I think I'm still asleep...
I enjoyed seeing these, mrgraphic. Its such a beautiful, amazing site and I love that loud roar of the water. Just makes your whole insides feel the tremble and the thunder!
So you've been there too? It is pretty awesome.

As a child growing up in Hamilton, Ont, The Falls was many a weekend explore, picnic and playground area. Later my bride and I, 56 years ago, honeymooned there. It's been a long time since my childhood but scene has barely changed. The Maid, Peace Bridge, whirlpool---on and on, even the barge stuck on rocks, still there. Yes sir, some things don't change---THANKS FOR THE MEMORY!!!
P.S: May I download one of the shots? I believe my Bride and I stood on the same spot from which you took the picture, #3, 56 years ago.

My Dad was born there. I have been there at least three times now but that was before digital cameras.

I love the third one. I'll have to get back there someday.
Nice shots from the Canadian side. (I'm 15 minutes from The Falls). Did you make it to the American side? Some pretty unique views/ops from there. AND if you really want some unique shots, come in the winter.
One day I will return?---Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing.
