As an Eagle watcher, I take hundreds of photos at a local nest. Every now and then I get on in flight. I have as yet to get one as good as yours. Very nice

They are absolutely beautiful creatures. Used a Sony a55, 120-400mm Sigma

Did not realize there were that many eagles in florida. We have a pair that have been building nest and raising chicks nearby in shiloh military park....they are now shoaring-up there nest and should lay next month.

Surprised no one asked about what camera, lens and settings you used.

Yes, there are a lot of eagles in Florida, with all the lakes, wet lands and rivers just a natural great place for breeding

Love Circle B Bar. Was this just a fly by or where you close to the nest? They have a nest a the back by the big lake but it's hard to shoot
They built a new nest up front somewhere haven't found it yet. Look on the Florida wildlife department site for the eagle nest locator it has nests by county with GPS info. There are a couple just out of Lakeland on 37 alsoa few great horned nest in that area.

It was a fly by but had been watching for about an hour. Was on rabbit run looking across the wet land toward the praire area. The nest can be seen from the praire side, but have to stay on path because is environmentally sensitive.
