I am looking for an extremely simple program that will allow me to turn my photos into a slide show and be able to be placed on a digital frame. Any help would be appreciated.

I have two photo frames. I just get my picture files reduced to under 1 MB, put them on an old 1 or 2 MB SD card, and the frame does the rest. No slideshow software necessary. I can adjust the timing of the slides on the frame.

Almost all digital frames create their own slide shows from the photos you have loaded onto it. Most allow adjusting the speed of the slide show.

Most digital frames allow you to view your pictures as slideshows. Unless you want to add something to your pictures (like speech balloons or silly hats, etc), your frame should allow you to view your pictures with music.

Agree, that like my frame just put in JPEG and there is a show. If size is a problem, then use FastStone Resize to do by batch.

Regarding SlideShows as a general subject, I tested many for wedding product,,, Ashampoo came out ahead (2Years ago) and certainly, the price is right. Price was not the key factor, the week before I found Ashampoo's SShow, I spent $80 for another product!! Ouch.

I've used Photoshow by SimpleStar in the past. Gimmicky, but there is a lot of versatility in those gimmicks and tricks to make a show with captions, video, clip art, and music. You can even use your own .mp3 files.
(This sounds like an advert, but I promise I do not work for them)
I think they're out of the stand alone software biz now but you can subscribe to their service and produce shows online and then download.

If you want slide shows beyond what your digital frame does I would recommend one of the ProShow products by Photodex. If you don't want to invest in more software you can build your slideshow online.
