Hi, I'm a snowbird from Cincinnati and found your forum through a photo club here in Boca Raton Century Village.
I have a Canon 7D, but recently bought a Fuji X10 and have been using it more and more. Question is; are there any Fuji users on the forum?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi Susan, So far, I'm not seeing anything on Fuji, but have thoughts of selling my Canon outfit and going to the Fuji X Pro series. The little X10 has been awesome, but being fixed lens is limited.
Tell me more about your rig. I'm getting older and try not to lug so much weight, which the 7D has. It's a fabulous camera, but it is heavy with my 18-270 lens on it and that's how I usually use it.

I have a Fuji HS50EXR (Bridge camera) and it's quite nice.

The Fuji XT-1 is an APS-C mirrorless camera. When I was researching digital cameras, I originally wanted a FF DSLR, but I also wanted something that I could comfortably carry on my bike. This was the best compromise for me. My final decision was between the Sony A7(FF mirrorless) and my camera. It was a tough decision for me and i think I would've been happy with the Sony also.

some videos(reviews/info) for you about the XT-1:

Also if you search for my post "Finally Bought a Camera..." ,
rebride has 2 posts with Fuji websites full of information.

Also try searching "Fuji" on this forum and there are some posts.
Hope this helps...Susan

Thank you, I will check them out. I also want to take a good look at your Fuji.
What lenses do you have/ If not Fuji, what kind of adapter have you used?
Thanks

Hi, thanks for the response. I don't know the various Fuji models, but will check it out. I guess the Fuji is a "bridge" camera for me, but the problem is, it what works so good, that I leave the Canon and pick up the X10.
I'm on the fence about selling the 7D outfit since I use it for some specialized stuff......

I bought the camera with the XF 18-55mm f2.8-4 kit lens.
Its a fine lens to start with for now, but I plan on purchasing some faster lenses soon.

I'm including a link for the the Fuji lens map.
The lens map is what made me pick the Fuji over the Sony...
Plus, I just like the feel of the camera.

Hi, Fred, welcome to the Hog. I have two Nikon cameras a D7000 and a D610 and I also own a Fujifilm x100s that I have owned for a couple of weeks and am really enjoying it. I live in Florida too and am always finding myself out in areas where I wish I had a camera with me and this little camera works great with excellent images. Be sure to post some of your shots I would enjoy seeing them.

Fred, there are no Fuji users that are alive, I looked.Welcome to the Hog and hope you have a great time and learn a lot from many great photographers. Still looking, no Fuji users, ther's Nikon and Canon, would they help you? Seriously, it's a fun place and yes there are a couple Fuji users here and they really seem to enjoy their cameras. Good luck, keep shooting and have fun....................
