All of the people who allowed illegal immigration should be in jail for a long time. The illegals' home countries, where they have or should have citizenship, needs them too...as much as or more than the USA does. If all illegals could be sent home with guns, ammo and a copy of our constitution in their native language to fight for, their home countries would be good places to live and work. Instead, areas of our country are becoming more like their native countries and will someday be annexed to their home country.

There is a threshold where even Harvard graduates are not finding jobs, and our tax dollars are going to developing countries to maintain the status quo. Nobody , especially republicans, ever said immigrants are destroying ANYTHING. Duh. The kids in your movie are NOT the ones anybody is concerned with. The problems around immigration are the ones who are here illegally, have no skills other them muscle, who have no intention of becoming a citizen There are millions of them… without them and ally he expenses and problems they cause,, there would be ways of accepting more.

This movie is all about the mess anybody who supports illegal immigration has caused.

Case in point. I have a friend who is Muslim from Sarajevo, who fought in that war. A side story is he told how his mother used to love to hear the bells ring on Sunday - The CHristian Bells- they got along just fine before the war- then it all became politicized. I could go on with his 'horror' stories of the war) . Anyways he was an IT guy at a place I freelanced. He married a doctor he met here, also from Sarajevo, also muslim- he had already become a citizen, she only had a green card. I have lost touch now when he took another job, but even though he had married her and she paid an enormous amount of US taxes, they would not let her in as a citizen.

We joked that all she needed to do was to go to Mexico and walk across the border. He thought this enormously ironic and laughed at the gallows humor. She is precisely the immigrant we need, someone who WANTS to be a citizen, as opposed to someone who just wants to work here with no loyalty whatsoever. These kids are too.

Where I I've we have huge amounts of Vietnamese and Bosnian immigrants, whole sections of the city are being taken over and turned back into once neighborhoods from the people who used to live there. They work hard, and care, their kids speak perfect English and translate for them. I know dozens!

The class of immigrant we don't want are the ones we don't really need , those who support them want slaves wiling to work for below living pay , no benefits, no protection, and find a way for them to participate in our elections because you know who they will vote for. Thats the immigrant nobody wants.

IMHO, the history of immigration in the US is like the game "King of The Hill" which my friends and I played as kids. In that game, the first kid at the top of the hill tried to keep everyone down. Once another kid made it to the top, he in turn pushed others away and so on. In like fashion, the those of English ancestry tried to keep out the Irish, who in turn, tried to keep out the Italians. Ditto for the Jews, Asians, Mexicans, Arabs, etc

Hey dirtpusher. I was puzzled with the derogatory language that you used against immigrants and I fully understand why after reading your occupation as a retired "bulldozer seat cover". You have really learned to speak that lingo well. However, I hope you learn that your lingo does not sit well with many hear that are used to a much kinder and humane lingo. Have you forgotten that your ancestors were immigrants as well? Your profile does not show your real name so if I am wrong by assuming that your ancestors were not immigrants, please forgive me for my mistake. Now, if you are an American Indian, I think you have the right to express your anger against all of us immigrants, including you. I think that you should look at the video again, before you ridicule yourself one more time. If you didn't make it far in school for whatever reason, don't put down any immigrants including Irish, Brits, French, Italian, Jews, Latin Americans and many more that made this beautiful country a power house. You are correct that no child should be punished for the sins of their parents. I agree with you on this matter. If the article is correct and we are talking about two million kids than they should get a break. In a country of three hundred million, two million kids are not going to break the bank.

The issue is that both sides of the immigration argument lie and lie and lie. How is anyone supposed to determine the truth. How do you keep the kids and send the parents back? The parents broke the law and there is no way around that. Maybe the right thing to do is to jail every congressman and every law maker that turned a blind eye and allowed this situation to get where it is today.
That would free up some jobs.

We would not have been able to build this country without generations of "bulldozer seat covers" After nearly 30 years of providing medical care to them, I talk like them too. Hasn't hurt my professional reputation. I am also 1/16 Cherokee Indian. I say send the whites back to Europe, the Blacks to Africa, and the Chinese to Hong Kong.
