We had our first big snowfall of the season on November 30, 2011. The storm dumped 8" of snow on us in mid-Michigan. Here are some of the pics I took the next day (my first posts). Comments and suggestions welcome.

You are so luck to have the blue sky accompany the snow, I'd be out shooting all day I think. Please post more if you have them.

Very nice photos. I like the second photo best. The road under the trees makes the shot interesting for me and is guiding me into the photo.

Love the 2nd one! It's why we love to live in Michigan - one minute there's beautiful snow covered landscape - the next minute it's cloudy, rainy, brown and blah. (Much like it is as I look out the window now) :-)

Nice snow exposures. I lean toward the first image, as it has a "timeless" quality that the road and mailbox in the second image does not offer.

Hope you will share more of your neck of the woods. Welcome.

All three are very good; but #2 is my favorite. Wish I had taken it.

Although I'm planning on moving to FL, I absolutely think #2 and #3 are screensaver material.

Like all 3 but #1 I like the best, it almost appears that the trees in the background have an HDR effect to them.

#2 just jumps out...that's a keeper. Good saturation, good composition, it all works.
