Hi Luis, welcome! I like how the parrot is posed, though it seems a little out of focus.

Are you into post-processing? The background is awfully bright and busy and kind of overpowers the beauty of the bird. Many ways to change or correct that.

In case your topic gets moved to Photo Gallery, here is the information for posting in "analysis." It's kind of strict :)

The bird seems to have decent focus although a full examination may reveal some blurring. The background is too bright and too busy though. If you could blur it some in post it might give you what you are looking for. Steve

Nice shot. The background is a little busy and therefore distracting, I think.

I have had similar problems, caused by using to slow shutter speed. Check your EFIX data. Try to stay faster than 1/200 hand held. MHO. Ed

Good composition; but, as mentioned above, the background is way too busy and not blurred enough. It competes with the colors and patterns of the bird.

Composition is good. The subject needs more sharpness. The bg is huge distraction!

Because of the way you've framed the elements in your image, I'm not so sure I would say that the composition is "good". Like others have said, there are too many competing elements (the other colorful bird in the lower right, and the busy background itself is too distinct - i.e., not blurry enough to fade into unrecognition) which distract from a very interesting main subject. Perhaps this is because of where you positioned yourself when you took the shot. You may not have had control over this, but getting as close to your subject as possible and using the largest aperture possible (still keeping proper exposure) will produce a much more pleasing bokeh - but some lenses are better at this than others. It would also be more helpful if you check "store original" when you submit a photo so we can see your EXIF data.

I like it a lot but the background does seem to over power the bird. It's like it's almost too much out of focus and too bright. all could be fixed with a little PP.

The subject looks pretty much focused. I would remove some of the background noise and tone down the red a bit. I would also try to darken the background some so it's not so much of a distraction.

Your bird is a little out of focus. You have a lot going on in this image. Just MHO, I would have focus more on the bird and blured out the background.
